Dual Enrollment Information

Dual-enrollment courses are a great way for students at Seaford High School to challenge themselves with college-level curricula and, upon successful completion of the course, purchase college credits. A dual-enrollment course is one where students qualify for both high school credit and college credit due to the nature of the course work and the partnership with a university.

Seaford High School is excited to offer a number of dual enrollment courses including:

  • Long Island University: Sports Medicine, Public Speaking, Marketing, Accounting, Java, Child Development

  • Stony Brook ACE: Social Media & News Literacy, Photography 2, Long Island History

  • Project Lead the Way: Cybersecurity, Human Body Systems, Computer Science Principles

Please note: sometimes courses run on an “every other year” basis.

For more information about these courses, you can read course descriptions in the Seaford High School Course Handbook or book an appointment with your guidance counselor.

Here you will find helpful information regarding registration, costs, and deadlines for securing the accompanying college credits.
